Photographer:

A Wedding photographer can be booked for different amounts of time on your special day, right through from bridal prep through to the evening celebrations. If you would rather have them for a shorter package such as arrivals for ceremony until the wedding breakfast then a lot of photographers do different packages to cover all sorts of options.

One thing to consider is the style of photographer you are after, the main three styles are traditional, contemporary and candid but many photographers will mix the styles up and combine them to deliver a wide selection of images for your day.

Many photographers offer a pre-wedding meeting which is always a great help in both sides getting to know each other before the big day! If you have any occasions coming up before the big day (such as an engagement shoot, family birthday etc) its always good to book the same supplier so you can check out their style and get to know them a bit better!

Videographer:

Wedding videography is the perfect way to capture all the biggest moments of your day, from getting ready, to walking down the aisle, to saying 'I do', to cutting the cake. What an amazing way to remember your day!

As your wedding day is so busy you may not see everyone’s reactions but having a videographer for the day means they will catch moments which you can look back on later and enjoy.

The wonderful thing about having a wedding video means you can relive every emotion and intimate moment from your special day, its such a raw way of looking back and remembering!

Flowers:

The tradition of carrying flowers on your wedding dates back to ancient times. In ancient Rome brides carried them in the belief that they signified new beginnings, fidelity and fertility.

There are so many kinds of flowers available now to suit every style, colour and season. They can be used as the standard bouquets and button holes, scattering petals down the aisle, and as décor around for ceremony and reception.

You can fully tailor your flowers to suit your needs and your venue or wedding planner will help with each step of this!

Artificial flowers are becoming more and more popular and they have really come along in the last few years and are such a stunning option.

Wedding Cake:

Your wedding cake can really make a statement as you as a couple - whether this be traditional and chic, or colourful and fancy! You can add a little bit of your personalities and style into the design.

The cutting of your wedding cake is a wonderful tradition, a classic photo opportunity and usually the moment before your first dance and beginning of your evening reception.

Also let’s not forget the main reason to have one – so everyone can eat delicious cake together!

Venue Dressing:

Weddings are extremely personal and within the dressing of the venue is where you can best represent you as a couple, setting the tone of the celebration and creating a memorable experience for you and your guests.

Venue dressing includes such things as aisle décor – from lanterns or flowers down the aisle to props for behind your ceremony table. This also includes any centrepieces, these can be candles, flowers, twinkly lights or something more personal like mementos from your life together.

You can do the venue dressing yourself, if you can gain access to the venue the day before or the morning of the wedding or you can pay a dressing company to come and do it all for you! They will set up, manage and take away all of the items making it stress free for you!

Wedding Music:

There are lots of different types of music you can have for your wedding. The most popular option is to have a DJ for your evening reception, there are so many options, and we would always recommend having a chat to or meeting with the DJ to ensure they are on the same page as you in regard to how you would like your evening reception to unfold.

Another evening option Is to have a live band, its such a wonderful option and adds such a personalised touch to your wedding. For example, the first dance is one of the most integral parts of your wedding and choosing a band to play the bride and grooms favourite song really ensures its extra special!

If you were wanting to add a bit of luxury to your day and had the budget them some live music such as a string quartet or wedding singer is perfect for your wedding ceremony and drinks reception. It really adds an element of magic and class to your day.

Transport:

Wedding transport isn’t something that every couple will choose to have but for those car enthusiasts or those wanting to arrive in style then wedding transport is for you!

Not only can the wedding car make a great backdrop for pictures on the day, you could also make use it if after the ceremony with your photographer and ask the driver to take you some local picturesque spots to really make the most of the area and get those stunning shots for your album!

Stationery:

Wedding stationery covers everything from Save the dates and invitations to signage for the day of the wedding. It is such a nice option to have continuity through these and use a specific stationery supplier to create a special bespoke design (or choose one from their website) to use on all of the items you need for your day.

If your theme is greenery and pearls you can incorporate this onto your invites, order of service, place cards for each guest, table numbers, seating plan, welcome sign, guest book and you can even get your thank you cards with the same design on!

Ceremony:

There are a few different options to choose between for your wedding ceremony, the most common for us to see is a registrar led ceremony. You will be given the local registrars details by your wedding planner and its always in the borough of the venue rather than where you live.

The other options would be a church ceremony which you can do at whatever church you decide upon. The final option to choose would be a celebrant – this choice isn’t legally binding but is such a really nice option to choose as they create the ceremony just for you - they will get to know you and ensure your day and union is as personal as it can be.

Entertainment:

A wedding in itself can be entertainment enough but adding something alongside your evening music or drinks reception can be a great talking point and interactive for guests so there is never a lull in your day.

We have lots of different types of suppliers who offer entertainment, one of the most popular is a photobooth. This is a great way to add some fun and whimsy to your wedding, you can choose which type suits your theme best (they can offer magic mirrors, retro photobooths or even an old horsebox turned into a photobooth!) and the guests who use it will often get a few copies, one copy can be stuck into your guest book and the guests then get a little memento of the day also to take home.

We also have some great suppliers who offer garden games, this can be such a good option if you are having a summer wedding and wanted to keep adults and kids entertained alike! Magicians can also be an excellent choice for guests of all ages to enjoy! They can really utilise any lulls that may occur during drinks receptions or after your meal has been served and you are waiting for evening guests.

There are lots of other entertainment which you may not have thought of, such as arcade machine hire, tarot card readers, fireworks, casino hire, petting zoo hires, Caricatures and more!
